Complex components perfectly protected –
the cathodic dip process at KSK

Particularly complex components are not suitable for classic coating processes due to their different depths and surfaces. The cathodic dip process (CDP) perfected by KSK nevertheless allows efficient treatment in large quantities. In addition to corrosion protection, the objective is to create a particularly smooth, homogeneous surface – including in the cavities – on the unfinished parts. This technology uses an external electrode to transport the coating to the unfinished part with the electrical current flow. KSK uses the most up-to-date, environmentally friendly materials in the CDP system. These materials ensure a low-solvent and heavy metal-free (without lead, chromium or tin) production and enable the system to meet the REACH Standard 2015.
